shifting gears

I normally shift at 2000-2200 RPM unless towing, then I shift around 2300-2500 RPM. I always stay above 1500 RPM in 6th but will go to lower RPMs in the lower gears; ie. 5th min. 1400, 4th min. 1200, 3rd min 1000 ,but I never use full power at the lower RPMs just to keep from lugging the engine, unless it is in 1st or 2nd.
