Sensor not hooked up and just hanging out....

Found this guy hanging out alongside my frame rail on the passenger side underneath my oil filter housing zip tied up and not hooked up to anything after I had the truck in at dodge to replace factory turbo for aftermarket turbo. My truck has been running horrendously ever since I got it back and I've had codes for overboost come up and codes for no boost pressure, the type of code that restricts any acceleration when it comes up until I clear it with my smarty. Anyone have any idea what this part is for and why its not installed where it should be? And if it could be the root cause of my problems? Its a sensor of some kind and i've tried searching the part numbers online to see what exactly it is but to no avail....

Looks to me like the solenoid that used to be in your stock HE351 turbo maybe.
See here, 1st post:

That's the solenoid from you rOEM turbo. It needs to stay plugged in to keep from getting a CEL.

Get a Quad boost fooler, and you should be good to go. If you had taken your truck to a diesel shop and not Dodge they would have told you that you should run a boost fooler.

Also if your smarty WG setting "off", and what kind of boost levels do you see?

There is a jumper I got for that from HTT when I got my turbo... call them, they'd probably send you one pretty cheap.

That is another option, but not a necessary one.. It just cleans up the engine bay and prevents a CEL, but it won't affect performance over having the solenoid (Command Valve) plugged in.
