Got the CTD back today and no bill!
A little history - A couple of weeks ago it began getting hard to start. First dealer said that they and Dodge could not figure it out and it must be bad fuel. They said take it and run some fuel from another station thru it. I took it and headed straight to another dealer. The day of the appointment it wouldn't start so on the hook it went. Couple days later I get the call that the fuel has water in it and everything from the tank to the heads needed replaced. Found out that the first dealer had been told to replace everything but I guess they didn't want to do it. Also they never took care of the recall for the tanks vents. So the second dealer did the repairs and Dodge handled the cost. Sometimes things work out in the end.

B19. It should be taken care of at the dealer before they sell the truck but as I found out, not all were. Do what creedCTD and see if yours was taken care of. Also, once the factory found out about the problem, they took care of it before shipping.
Mine is an 06 and had the recall done. I was told (by former service manager)they replaced the filter...which was an optional parts of the recall...and now the dealer tells me it was not replaced. It has 33k and it is in the shop...wont start ... and they said no warranty. The fuel tank and the filter have a grit that looks like "road film" from accumulated water on top of the tank. I think it was contaminated before the recall was done...if they ever really did any of it.
This is what kills me about DC, a guy in Pa has a problem and the tab is picked up by DC, a guy in Texas has a problem and its no warranty. Where is the consistency/fairness in this? How are these things determined? There must be two different guidelines these guys go by when determining warranty.

Finding a good dealer is the key. My first choice, and the dealer the truck came from, ignored what DC told them to do. Not sure how they get away with that and hold the dealership. Does this 5 star dealership mean anyting? I've noticed not all have that.
