Have you got the c clips out yet? Screw driver and hammer to get them off, then I lay the yoke end across an open vise, beat on the unsupported yoke to push the cap up through the yoke. Repeat 3 more times and reverse procedure to install. When I get them all put back together and the c clips put in, I like to beat the cap ( and clip ) all the way back against the yoke. This helps to make sure all 4 bearing caps get grease to them. If one is in tighter than the others, it caps that end blocking off the grease passage. Others might critisize my caveman like tactics, but I have done thousands without any problems that way.Works for me!
