Repairing APPS (or where to buy)

For the last couple of weeks my truck has intermitently has driveability problems. It will be OK for a while then go into 'limp mode' (at full throttle only have low power, jerkiness of throttle, etc.). These symptoms along w/ code P2121 make me fairly certain that I need to replace my APPS. It's beginning to get worse & worse, so I have to do something.

BTW, my truck is a 2004.5 & does not have the APPS mounted on the intake. So, I don't think that Timbo has a part for me. I have heard that sdome have soldered a capasitor accross two of the APPS wires - does this work? Are there any other fixes? If not, what is the cheapest place to get another APPS?

Mine went all at once. Absolutely zero warning. I got one from TST products.com, $169 delivered. I think Mark will know which one you have. It might even be the same tps as mine but mounted in a different place. Craig
