OK when i got my truck it didn't have a spare key or a remote key pad. I have a keypad from a 99 grand caravan, can i take this keypad to a dealer and have them program it to my truck? I called and asked them and they said i would have to buy a new one and have them program it into my truck for $80. are they just saying this so i spend more $$ there??

 

Preetty good odds that it won't work. All you can do is try, but that can get expensive. There is a locksmith locally here, that can get and program remots for about half of the dealer's price. Might be worth a few phone calls!
