Relay Code

My check engine light is on and when I pull the code I get this; P2607 Intake Air Heater Relay 2 Low.

What do I need to do to correct this and where is the relay located? I disconnected both batteries for about ten minutes, when I hooked them back up the check engine light was still on.

Have to get it fixed because I need to get it SMOGed

This code typically indicates that an intake heater relay or relays are faulty. They are located on the passenger side under the battery tray. Be sure all the wires are connected. Take note of their position and then remove the wires from the relays. Then utilize a digital voltmeter and measure the resistance across the posts of the relays. If resistance is not between 15-25ohms, replace the relays. It is best to remove the plastic inner wheel wheel liner off on the right side in order to access the wires to the relays.

Also be sure that you clean the battery cables, terminals, and all of the grounds as well.

I have attached the diagnostic procedure process for this code for you as well.

Thank you for the help. Turned out one of the wires came off the relay. Passed smog with flying colors.

Turned out the relays were not under the battery tray, they were along side it and no reason to pull the inner fender liner. It is an 04, do not know if that makes a difference or not.
