? about relay left of the fuel shutdown relay
On my friends 98 12 valve 5-speed we had fuel shutdown relay problems last week, everything working fine now.
Just wondering what the other relay is on the same mount but smaller, its on the left of the larger fuel shutdown relay? On his truck the relay has nothing plugged into it, and looks like it never has.

Thanks infidel,
Just curious why Dodge would put a unused relay there while on later model they left off thing like hood insulation, bed trim and other thing to save money. I’m going to look on my friends truck and see if there is fuel heater relay plug laying around, the fuel shutdown relay and its plug were not where it was suppose to be, just laying against the motor. Probably left there when he had the dealer work on his truck previously.

I've never seen one that was there but not connected, in about '97 it changed to just one relay. On the earlier trucks the two relays were hooked together, perhaps they were using up extra parts on the '98.
It's hard to figure how they decide what to save money on. On newer trucks there is no key halo (a light around the key) even though the bulb and wiring is there it's not hooked up.
