rebuilding front drive shaft

has anyone had to rebuild their front driveshaft. i think the cardan joint on mine is on its way out. when i got my truck at 20,000 miles it was very difficult to grease the cardan joint. it did not want to accept grease no matter what i did.

I had mine rebuilt at 90,000 miles. They installed all new joints, cardan, and changed the slip shaft out with one that has a zerk, balanced. I think the total bill was under 150.00 from a local drive train shop.
