rebuild or new motor ?

I lost an injector while towing and it looks like it washed out cylinder #3. The truck is an 06 with 80k miles on it. I'm looking for some opinions on rebuilding vs reman.

Pull the head to see how bad the cylinder is. If it looks like it might clean up and the bottom end didn't get trashed I'd repair the one you got.

Thx for the reply. We ran a bore scope and the piston look fine. We are going to do a compression check on all the cylinders before we pull the head. The O ring failed on the injector. Whats seems odd is the copper washer didn't get melted and is in perfect shape. I'm hoping this can be a simple fix.
