Random high idle.

Random high idle.
It just started having a random high idle.
Truck drives when when in gear, but sometimes between shifts when the clutch is in, the rpms stay high 12-1300 rpm, the next shift it may be fine. Or when coming to a stop with the clutch in, the rpm is over 13-1500rpm, stab the gas pedal, and the rpm drops 1000, stab it again and it's normal....or it may drop to normal the 1st time.
Starts fine (normal rpm), no excessive smoke. Could a bad FCA cause this?

what year did e-throttle come out? If you have that it could be the problem. If it is the old cable system (like my 03 was) then check the cable for smooth. Could be frayed and occasionally binding
