Amen to that...$100 new resident fee. In the last few years I bought a couple of vehicles tax-free due to being in the military but had to register them in the state of purchase. Being from Texas, I will register them there when I get the chance and won't have to worry about Uncle Sam Houston trying to get his taxes.

And 6700 lbs sounds about right.

$551 this year for AZ registration on my 06 MC. Oh well, property taxes are about .8% of property value so in the end it is cheaper.

My California registration was $440 last year. I'm glad I got stationed in florida. It will be much less this year.
