Radiator overflow line

I noticed tonight that my overflow line is leaking just below the radiator cap... it is just pushed on there, no clamp or anything. Might want to give yours a look and a clamp before something bad happens...

Happened to mine...I just put a band clamp on there, tightened it up good and tight and called it a day...then I put a band clamp on the overflow hose too, just for good measure. I prefer to have my engine coolant IN, rather than out...

Mine leaked there too, just put a clamp on, called it done. It wasn't leaking at the reservoir but I figured it would be next so clamped it too. Seems everyone has the leak, pretty much all have put clamps on, a couple have used ty-wraps. Must have been one of those cost cutting things, eh?

common problem- use a stainless steel band clamp to fix it!

Yeah, I was just passing the word. I was thinking about trimming a half inch off of it or so, that way the wore out part was gone.

Mine did it during a cold snap. Same as the others, I put a SS bandclamp on it and never had another issue...
