Quick transmission fluid question?

I just had a new tranny installed and they used regular ATF+4. My questions is, when it comes to service time can I replace the fluid I dropped from the pan w/ATF+4 synthetic or do I have to do a full fluid exchange to run synthetic? TIA

All of the ATF+4 licensed fluids contain a specific additive package and group III base oil as per Chrysler specs. ATF+4 fluids are recognized as synthetics. At service time, you can simply replace the fluid that you removed from the pan with any of the licensed products noted in the attached link.

You can use Amsoil if you want real group IV synthetic ATF fluid.
