Question re: 11.5" rear differential.

I have the 11.5" rear axle/differential and limited slip in my 04.5 2500 but don't know anything about it. I'm more of a jeep "guy" and was wondering if this axle and R&P setup similar to a Dana 70 or Dana 80. I'm assuming that the 11.5" rear is a Chrysler corporate one and not a Dana-Spicer one. Any info or comparison to Dana-Spicer products is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Here's a link to the American Axle Manufacturing website:
http://www.aam.com/technology/tech_prod_driveline.html

AAM is not a DC Corporate entity; and does supply diffs to both DC and GM.
