Injector Question

With all the reports of bad injectors on some 600's I decided to check mine yesterday. I started the engine and put my hand on each injector line. What I noticed is the front one ( I assume cylinder 1) has a very pronounced pulse, or banging, of fuel. Most of the others I almost felt nothing, just a slight vibration.

Is this normal or is there a better way to check them. I cant say I have any symptoms, other than some smoke on certain startups, but I'm not really sure what the engine is supposed to sound like.

My truck feels like that too. If I remember correctly, other people have said their fuel lines feel like that and it's normal. I think it has something to do with that injector line being on the end of the rail, farthest from where the fuel comes in.

Mine is the 03 but has a pronounced (lope) to it in sound only, kind of like a RV cam in a chevy 350 but the motor is smooth as butter, I was told that this was normal and that a couple of injectors were louder than the others. Im not sure if this is normal or not after reading these injector problems.
