Purple Turbo, Normal? Heavy towing*New Pics*

Just got back from Utah towing my 42' toyhauler with a Jeep Unlimited in the back, approx.20klbs for 2500mi. and noticed my turbo is kinda purple in color, Yes I have gauges and ran 1150 degrees max on pyro, post turbo in jake brake per Cummins, Cummins told me I can run 1150 Post turbo all day with no worries. I have 25k miles on the truck. Is this normal for the heavy towing guys?

I don't know about the turbo color, but I bet she is idling smooth now after a towing session like that.

These engines are made to work hard,,, if you do alot of empty easy running some actually begin to idle a little rough,,, after a good heavy loaded work out,, it seems to make them smooth out....
