I have a 2006 2500 power steering pump went out .replace it worked good for about 3 weeks went out again .now I'm on my 4 they last about 3 weeks flushed out the system each time added a filter what am I missing getting tired of replacing them

 

Are you buying cheap rebuilds with a lifetime warranty??

The quality of those can be terrible or decent, depending on the QC of the rebuild house as well as the condition of the core. While it is a little strange to get 3 in a row that are going bad that quickly, it is NOT unheard of. As you are maybe finding out, the warranty is worthless if you have to keep doing the labor again and again. Try another supplier, or even bite the bullet and try to find a deal on an oem PS pump.
