Pop!

Hey all, I have a 2006 Dodge 5.9L Cummins, the other day I was checking my tires out and I pushed the tire and I heard a click noise. So I wiggled the tire with the truck on the ground and I could feel a popping in the tire. Had my brother shack the front end from the truck and while looking at the tie rod ends, universal and ball joints it all looks tight. I just had my wheel bearings done by the dealer on both sides. They stated they replaced the entire hub assembly with ABS sensor.

What do you guys think this is? If you push the rear of the truck back side to side you can really feel it.. almost like a crunch feel/ popping feel. If you think it is the wheel bearing(s) what do you recommend buying? I was looking at the timkens.

Our transit buses do this sometimes when a cord breaks in the tire. From the sound of it that's what you got going on.

Is it a 4 x 4 ? If it is could be front axle knuckle joints (U-Joints on the front axle)
