Pop...POP....pop

my truck has a pop somewhere. Sounds like a tie rod pop but I don't think it is a tie rod. my truck pops randomly....sometimes while turning, sometimes while flexing, and sometimes just going straight. Always happens at low speeds, or atleast thats only when I can feel and hear it. At first it sounded in the rear, now it sounds in the front. im clueless.

Ball joint? im approaching 70k so it might be time. I'm suprised my U Joints have suprised this long.

commentary?

mine has started to do the same thing. Since the new wheels and tires have been put on. Have not narrowed it down yet. I know it is the front and can see the bar that the steering stabiliber attaches to jerk when it does it. All the bolts are tight. ??????

Come to think of it, I had a tie rod replaced about 500 or 600 miles ago. Maybe I should check to see if anything has come loose.

Track bar bushing maybe?

check your axle u-joints too- i got a pop/clunk. it took me three days to find it. it is a bad axle u-joint, which is only three months old- i screwed up installing it!! i only got the noise going slow and when turning left. i thought the noise was coming from the back too- then i isolated it to under the my feet!-which led me to check over my whole front end!
