What were the symptoms of the solenoid malfunction?

 

low boost?

 

Just had the same thing on My 04 set a code, on mine the wastegate will stick open. I noticed it when shifting under a load.

 

I just had the same thing along with Po480 Fan Clutch They both share the same fuse on my 06. It lives under the hood in that fuse box on hte drivers side, I believe it is number 6 as far as location in the box.

 

ive also had this code i believe its and 04.5 thing..the wires to the wastegate crack..it can be spliced/sauterd back together i used electrical tape and to red wire connectors, i tried buying the new solinoid but was told it was on back order that was about 5 months ago and i still havent been told that it has came in.... https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...highlight=mojo

 

had the same problem only my wastegate was rusted shut so i got a new turbo under warrantee
