Please Help Guys!!!

I have a 07 4x4 5.9L and it is having trouble shifting out of 1st gear? Could this be transmission issues or maybe a module??? Once it gets out of 1st gear it is completly normal!!! I just put a superchips 3805 programmer and it was running fine for the past 3 days (thats how long the programmer has been on) and just today it started doing this!!!

What exactly is it doing?? Just staying in first all the time? Did you try going back to stock program to see if it corrects itself? How hard are you running her with this programmer? Enough to damage a stock trans?

IT just wont shift out of 1st gear unless I let off the throttle and barely get back in it!!! I am NOT hard on it at all I mean I prolly got on it 6 times in the last 3 days!!! I have friends that try to blow their **** up and theirs has NO probs!!! I am gonna go back to stock tomorrow and see if it fixes itself!!!

Sounds like one of 2 things to me. If you are 100% accurate with what you are saying then i would say governor solenoid. If it feels like it isnt leaving first, but infact it is, and going to second, with second just not being there and then having to go to third, hence the light throttle to get it to go (same thing happened to mine) then im going to say the front band. And maybe the drum.

First, pull the programmer out of the truck and see if that helps. If it doesn't, take her to the dealer. Still under warranty, no?

Well it has 56k so I think the factory warranty is up but I bought the truck from a friend of mine and he bought a ext warranty that is transferable so hopefully they pay for it!

Just had the same thing with mine literally a few weeks ago. Came home from vacation and the thing wouldn't shift out of first. I replaced the governor pressure solenoid, governor sensor and had a transmission fluid and filter changed while I was at it. My local mechanic charged me $350 for it. Runs like brand new. Heading out tomorrow from Cincinnati to Gulf Shores, AL then Panama City. Try those things and it'll fix it.
