Parasitic losses - auto vs. manual tranny

Hi - does anyone know what the parasitic losses are between the two tranny types? Here's a better way (I think) of asking the question:

In the current 610 motor configuration, does anyone have stock dyno measurements for a manual equipped truck as well as for a similarly equipped auto truck?

Just trying to see what the differences are in the amount of power being put to the ground....

B-D Power web has forums for Dodge/Ford/GM. They, forum members and B-D techs, were talking about testing on Edge Juice, when it hit the market, for the DMAX/A and found the Allison needed 50-55 hp to operate. The ZF 6 speed standard needed 25+ hp to operate. B-D tech folks compared that loss to 35-40 hp loss the 4L80/47RE/48RE size trannys show on the dynos.
This was some time back. E-mail some of the box makers as they may have more up to date info on the two trannys your asking about.

Mine is the auto. 48RE. It dyno'd 280hp/528tq factory in 4th gear, stock w/factory air and exhaust in 105 degree Summer heat on a dynojet.

Guess you could just find somebody with the 6 speed to give you their dyno numbers for somewhat of a comparison. There may be other factors involved, but that may help some.

If mine is pushing the rated 325 at the flywheel, then I guess my drivetrain/tranny etc.....gave it a 45hp loss.
