P2509, what does this code mean?
Took my truck to the dealerhship for a front end problem. They called me and said it threw a code and wouldn't crank. Weird because it has always cranked pretty quick even without ever plugging it in down well below freezing.
They said they left the hood up all night and the battery got weak.

P2509 ECM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent
It can be a lot of things, but in my case it was my batteries. I threw the code, and did some searching, and the most common cause seemed to be weak batteries. I had mine tested, and sure enough. I replaced the batteries and had the code erased, and it hasn't been back since.

Well I hope it is the batteries even being a year old and not some weird problem.
Weird thing was it was 35 degrees the morning I took the truck to them and it cranked up just fine. But it was much much warmer the next day when it had the problem... Like 40 degrees warmer.
I'm just hoping it isn't a big deal and they just left the hood up. Although I thought the light under there turned out after a few minutes on it's own........

Well, now my overhead MPG resets if I let it sit without cranking it for more than a few hours and I think my foglights turn themselves off as well, seems like i have to turn them on everytime I turn on my headlights.
But my radio stations stay set.
Still cranks down into the 30-40's degrees out.
Weirdness....
