p0700 code

My truck threw this code last weekend. The shop could not clear the code. Took it to Dodge. Supposedly, they fix it and the code is gone. I pick up the truck and do the key cycle to check and the code is still there. The only thing that was wrong according to them was it was low on fluid. Call the service manager to ask why the code is still showing up and he tells me they have cleared all the trans codes and there is nothing else showing on the scanner. He also tells me that the key cycle is not the way to check for codes. He tells me that it is some kind of communication error because of all the "stuff" I have done to the truck. I uninstalled the bullydog before I took it. I'm fine it is something I did, but I just want to make sure there is not anything wrong with the truck. I'm at a loss. I don't know where else to go with this.

Sorry for the long post for my first post!
