What does 30K service entail?

What fluids do you guys recommend for the axles, transmission and transfer case in a 2004 Ram 2500?

 

Look in your owner`s manual. Dealers setup different schedule`s based on what they can get you for. Go by the book, do it yourself and save the big money for more toy`s....

 

EXACTLY...Dealers come up with their own BS schedule. My dealer sent me a letter saying that I was overdue the 9000 mile yellow service and if I didn't get it taken care of, my warranty was in jeapardy. That really made me I keep track of my work and keep the receipts.

 

I used Red Line for my differentials, ATF+4 for tranny and transfer case. With both the transfer case and differentials the factory oil was black at 30K when I changed mine.
