P0250 code on 20041/2 diesel?

P0250 code on 20041/2 diesel?
Engine light came on. All gauges normal, and when I tripped the ign. switch 3 times, it flashed a P0250 code on my 2004 Ram/Cummins. Can anyone explain it, please?
Got to make a correction....the code is P0251. Does that change things? Got the light to go out, but the code remains. I am about to drive it. Will update. Drove it 20 miles...No Light. Need to recheck for code, but now time to go visit family for Christmas. Merry Christmas to all!!
