p0148 & p0251 codes
I bought this truck two months ago, when I brought it home I changed the oil and filter along with the fuel filter. Truck runs great and has plenty of power. Averaging 18mpg with 37" tires. now my engine light come on with p0148 & p0251 codes. Truck still starts fine and don't smoke when started after setting a while. Any help would be appreciated

your fca is sticky, it is located on the back of the cp3, it is the only thing that has wires to it. it is held on by three screws with a torx head, I think it is a t-25. clean the head out first or you will mess the screw head up and make you say unkind words. if you do, the screw is a 0.5 mm pitch 5 mm diameter 20mm long. remove and clean with brake cleaner and shake it, it should rattle easily, if it does not, order one from genosgarage.com the p0148 code is from when the rail pressure exceeded the 28,000 lbs pressure and the pressure relief valve opened up. the prv can not take to many hits before it fails. fix it now and you should be ok. if the p0148 returns shortly after the fix I will get you to do some simple test before replacing the prv.
