p0251 and p0088 codes after alarm install??

I took my '04.5 in today for a remote start/alarm/keyless entry install and when I got it back the CEL was on. I took it into Advance Auto and had them pull the codes (that way I had an actual printout). I'm getting the following codes:

P0088 Fuel Rail Pressure Too High
P0251 Injection Pump Fuel Valve Feedback

Evidently the installers ordered the wrong bypass module and hooked it up, then found out it was the wrong one. They seem to think that could have caused the codes to be thrown, but I don't know.

My truck has a 6-Gun Banks and has never throw a code in the 3 months I've had it. It's got just under 97k on it.

So... uhh did the installers screw something up or did it just happen that the CEL go out the same time?

thanks all

well there is only one bypass for the ram,and if yoyu don't have the sentry key you don't need one at all.for the codes sounds like the banks, maby they unplugged somthing looking for a tach signal and started the truck, reset the cell doubt it will come back,if that was the case.

I don't mean to sound like i'm arguing, i've not worked with the alarm installs on one of these, but according to the installers there is a 06-07 bypass module and and 05 and earlier module. I need the 05 and earlier module where they put the 06 one on.

I do have grey keys by the way

i've tried to reset the code with my scan gauge but it won't clear, i'm assuming it's still on going

will cycling the key 3 times clear the codes?

also, i didn't seem to have a whole lot of power on the way home, i moved from 1 to 6 and back and forth a bit on the banks and still didn't have much power like i thought i should. Seems to me the engine sounded differently

Doesn't sound like anything realted to the install, unless they unhooked the rail sensor or tried to tap a wire on the rail pressure sensor for some reason. I cannot for the life of me think why they would be near it for an alarm install. P0088 like said before, it rail pressure above limit, which could also mean a grounded signal to the ecm. Did they try to tap any wires at the ecm? The P0251 is a related code because the FCA needs an input from the ecm to help regulate rail pressure.

i honestly don't know what exactly they tied into. i could ask them tomorrow when they open up.

I opened the yellow drain valve, hooked a hose to it and turned the key on-off-on then on-off-on-off for good measure and very little fuel or water came out.

i'm freaking lost...
