P0251 and P0148

I've been getting P0251 and P0148 recently. The light seems to come on when I'm cruising on the freeway and usually only if I'm over 72mph or so. The truck runs fine, rail pressure is @ 20k and fuel pressure around 18 when driving and light comes on. After a while it'll go out. I'm thinking the commander may have something to do with it, a connection perhaps?

I got the 0148 code the other day after doing some suspension work on my truck. I unplugged my quad rail pressure gauge and the truck ran just fine. I beleive something shorted out when I disconnected the batteries and then reconnected them. Start checking any performance (electronic) items you have

Probably an FCA on the fritz.

If you do a little searching you will see that those codes are usually solved with a new FCA.

I can almost guarantee it.

What I have never been able to figure out is if the FCA's are just sort of junky or what actually causes them to act up?? It is extremely weird because it almost never happens at WOT and it does not seem to be caused by lack of low pressure fuel?????

Can I check the FCA or do I just buy one from dodge or cummins and replace it? Did I do something to make it fail-also, where is it, exactly? Thanks for the thoughts.
