Well I had to do some welding tonight on my truck, like an idiot i left the batteries hooked up. Never had a problem before, till tonight I start my truck and it is just dumping smoke out the exhaust and has alot of timing rattle is sounds like, hit the gas pedal and it does nothing. I got the P0088 and tried clearing it with smarty, it went away and has not came back but the truck still runs like poo. Tried disconnecting the mp8 and batteries still doin it. Anyone any idea where to go from here? Thanks

 

bump....its running really bad and missing,he unloaded the smarty and disconnected the mp8 no differance, and with the truck running he disconnected the rail sensor and the truck died, and same for the Fca....

P0088 Fuel rail pressure to high.

 

I just hope it aint the ecm, i was able to unload smarty and put it back to stock. Wonder if its possible to have blown fuses ad make it run like that

 

Get a RP gauge and see what kind of pressure you are running. It sounds as if you RP sensor has bit the dust. Don't run it long like this cause you can trash an injector.
