over 200,000 miles on the stock engine mounted fuel punp
As the title says. My 03 has over 200,000 miles on the stock fuel pump. My engine is out for a rebuild, should I put on a new fuel pump or wait til it dies? I only ask this because I was under the assumption that these pumps do not last long, and that I may just be runnin on luck. Fuel pressure is good BTW

Hope somebody in the know will give you the advice. Meanwhile, judging by all the LP problems that have been posted, that is a lot of miles on the stock pump. I thought I was being lucky with 71,000 on mine.

Cause some bonehead did't notice the oil filter came loose and dumped 1.5 gallons of oil on the highway runnin over 90 mph. Scuffed #6 piston on the wall, which caused a steady knock.

Ouch! Might as well change out the LP now since you wont notice the cost compaired to the engine. They will be having to bleed everything (including your wallet) anyway.
