Got the first report on my truck back.

Well with a TBN of 5.4 you can get a few more miles (try for 7500-8,000 miles next time) on that brand of oil. I see your copper is up a bit so keep and eye on it. What brand of oil and weight did you use?

Geez, looks like the Amsoil filter isn't doing so hot. I don't think I ever saw a silicon level over 7ppm with my AFE PG7...

What about the copper level? Did they mention it?

I've seen whole lot worse numbers from other so called air filters that claim to be the best including Fleetguard so why are you knocking the Amsoil filter?

Yeah JC, what are you thinking? Don't pi-- off the Amsoil cult members! And thank you Donnie for your oil results. It's about as interesting as looking at my wife's Pap smear results.

Me neither, in fact in dusty conditions I haven't even ever seen over 5ppm...when I use the prefilter it has never been above 3. I'm sticking with PG7 myself.
