Pull the pan off, clean really well, and weld a patch on. If you have the time, I'd replace it.

That is the problem got no time. If I pull the pan off I will just change it. Going to try Jb Weld on it. Will post results. Hope to buy myself a couple weeks out of it.

A guy posted a source on E-Bay for $299. I've fixed mine twice now. I'm five miles from the ocean.

Its amazing how many people have had oil pans rust out.
It just doesn't seem possible that an oil pan could rust through but I keep sanding mine off and spraying it with paint every oil change and it still keeps getting rusty.

Most of the pan is still in great shape. Must have been some mud on one side that caused ot to rot out like it has. Tipped the truck to one side to stop the oil from bleeding out. Ground all the loose rust off. Put some kwik jb weld where the hole was waited for that to set. Then a good coat of the original jb weld all around. Good so far

I have a write up on here about changing mine. When I pulled it off the inside was fine but I had several spots that were bubbling under the paint, looked like a little rust was on there before they painted??

I had JB weld on for several weeks before I rounded up the pan and gasket, you can fix that spot but there are move after that, if it starts leaking while driving down the road will the light go off before you do permanent damage?

Search for the write up if you decide to change it, will save you some time.

NO... No one should drive their truck around with a temporarily fixed oil pan, unless you have time and money to waste...
