oil filters

oil filters


traded my 01 for a 03 , will the oil and fuel filters that i now have, for the 01, fit the 03.

Looking at Geno's catalog, the fuel filter is the same for the '00-'03's. There is an '03 oil filter, but it says it can be used on all '89-'03's. The difference is that it's fluted on the bottom so it can be removed with a six-in-one wrench. So, yeah, you should be able to use the filters you have.

I just contacted Amsoil and the filters are the same for the 03's. The SDF 80 is the filter for 03's.

Yes according to Cummins the filters are identical except for the fluting on the bottom which allows you to take it off on the 03 because the only way to get to it is from the bottom.
