Oil filter question.

Nothing wrong with Fram filters. They have fliters in at least three different classes for virtually all applications. Their good filters are as good or better than anything out there and their cheap filters are just as crappy as any other low end junk filter.
Personally I like the Wix 57620XE: paper/glass media rated at 14um nominal. Excellent filter. You get what you pay for.

Thanks for the replies, I was away again for a bit hence the delayed response.
The truck is an '06 and the dual filter setup is mostly just something I wanted to do. I'll be adding a by-pass unit too. I am aware that depending how the lines are routed they can self drain and thus starve the engine, but I am not worried about that aspect. I also solved the filter problem retaining the original filters. Found new filter head.
Still I appreciate the input, thanks.
