Previously I posted a question about oil coolers and a poster stated that there is already one located by the turbo. In another thread there is one mentioned at the back of the block. I went down and crawled around....I don't see one.<br><br>Que pasa? Is there a factory oil cooler and if so, where is it?

 

Hmmm, thanks. It's probably still there then. Other than stiffners I haven't read about any other block changes with the '03 HO. I didn't notice a cover though.

 

I belive the oil cooler is behind the oil filter. As far as the engine block is concerned Cummins made a few changes to strengthen it up over previous engines.
