Is this normal?

It seems my egt's are considerably higher. If I accelerate, especially if the trans doesn't shift- the egt's climb alot higher than I remember. Is this normal, or do I need to get it in to the dealer. It is a 03 so auto 4x4. What could be the cause if not normal. Thanks

700* is fine, start worrying at 1300*+ for more than 3 minutes.

700-800 if the pyro is post turbo
1300 pre turbo

If it's 1300 post turbo he would have burned his pistons already.
