newbie question

newbie question

I finally got my goat and now i am ookin to do a little to it, my first question is how much is too much on the transmission? What is the best way to go besides buying a whole new transmission and what else do i need to be aware of thanks for the input





oh yeah its a 04.5 2500 QCSB 4X4 Auto

I have an edge juice with attitude HOT on mine, and the tranny is feeling it. I take it easy, but if the power is there, then you will use it playing around, IMHO.

if you do just a programmer and stick with that then a TC and VB will hold fine til about 500 or so. after that is when you need the shafts accumilators, bands and servos aren't a bad thing to do along with the TC and VB. but if you're like alot of us who don't see an end insight for the quest for HP a fully built tranny is a smart move.
