I'm new to the site, looks like lots of info on here.

I just bought a 05 2500 4x4 cummins auto, when I put the truck in drive it seems like I need to give it a lot of gas to get it moving. The rpm's rev 800-1000rpm's before truck moves, when I put in reverse no problems, moves with out me putting and pedle down. Truck has 305,000km on it which is like 190,000Miles, truck is a one owner serviced buy dealer only. Wondering if there is a adjustment I could do, I was reading about the Band adjusment but can't find the step by step on it.

Any help or info please
