What is ETH & DEE???

I assume this is an 04.5? If so, many will be interested in your mileage. The 04.5's are not doing so hot.

Good luck.

Sorry, still stuck on the '02 lingo. ETH is HO engine, DEE is 6 spd.

No, truck is '04, 305HP, 555 TQ. Couldn't find any 600's in the vicinity and don't want one after reading about dismal mileage and emissions stuff on these forums. I really can't imagine 20HP and 45 ft/lbs. torque making a noticeable difference. I'll throw on an EZ and be done with it.

I don't think there are any issues. There is a harmonic vibration on some trucks taken care of by dampner weights on the hydraulic lines to the power brake booster. Not been a problem on my rig but no other problems of consequence.

I have heard of some trucks (maybe this is only on the 04.5s) that don't have enough fluid in the differentials. I have read a lot about checking the fluid level sometime soon.

Negative, that was the 2003`s. mine were low, both of them.

Redram,
I remember reading somewhere that there was a recall( C-44) that was about replacing a transmission line/hose. I think it was for 03's and some 04's. Yours may have been done by the dealer while on the lot but you might check on it.
