I just got my new 05 600 cummins when should I do the first oil change I got 800 miles on it now

 

Read the manual, I did mine at 5k though. Do the fuel filter at the same time

 

I did 3k then every 5k until 15k then syn.

 

Did my first oil change at 3k miles. Every 5k miles now.

Congrats on the new truck!! I change mine every 5k.

 

My dealer gave me a free oil change, lube and general inspection at 1100 miles just to make sure no new vehicle issues. Every 4k-5k since. Fuel filter every 7500.

 

I did mine the first time at 12 or 1400 miles. Again at 7500, and every 7500 after that. Fuel filter every 7500, figure as long as I'm out there getting all diesel smelling, I'll do it together. I've got syn in it just for better winter time starting, I'll go back to dino the next oil change.

 

Fuel filter every 15k.Mines NEVER looked bad.

 

First oil change at 3k with dino and then at 7500 went to synthetic. Changed oil/filter every 7500k and fuel filter every 10k.
