New hard start reflash?

I had the reflash for TSB 18-005-06 done about a month ago and all was well until a few days ago first thing in the AM. It was about 35-40 degrees and after waiting for the grid heater light to go out it took three tries (about 5-6 seconds cranking) until the engine started…..when it did the check engine light stayed on. Performance seemed okay…checked all fluids before driving etc.

I took it to the dealer today and they kept it a few hours and called me to pick it up. The service writer said they found a code P0191 that said to reprogram PCM….???? Anyone have a the scoop in that code?....service writer guy didn’t and the tech was not there when I picked up the truck. Anyway, they reflashed it with “TSB 18-005-06 REVB” and now all is well…..(for now).

Had mine flashed with 18-003-16 and that one did the trick. First reflash for hard starting (don't remember #??) didn't work.

i have had the 18-003-06 on mine for a while now and it still does not start . Took three tries this afternoon to get it to go, wasn't sure it was even gonna start. Very frustrating, problems just seem to follow me no matter what i drive, bought dodge for the cummins after having a very frustrating time with my 03 6ohno ford. So far this thing has not been much better, hope they get their S&^t together

I hope so...maybe that's what the "REVB" (revision B?) means that is printed on the repair order. It started fine this AM..on the first or second revolution. Also learned that the P0191 code is for fuel rail pressure out of range.... maybe that's why it took so long to start....the fuel rail needed to build up pressure?

Anyway...running good and starting quick now...hope it stays that way!

Revision 'B" would be the latest and greatest.

I had mine done almost 3 weeks ago and it works ! And I didnt even get the stupid look from the service writer ( Like there was no such thing) I took it in at 20,000 ml for a axel seal leak and they fixed both and got it right so far

Paragod -
Tell me more about your leaking axel seal - is this at the tire? Just found diff fluid leaking from the drivers side all ove the brakes. Looks like the diff was overfull and was not taken care of at the dealer. caused the seal to blow out. 40K miles and not cool. They started telling me it was not a warrenty issue until I informed them it was because they knew about overfilled diff issue - was a big deal with the 06. They are going to resolve on chrysler. you just peaked my intrest with the leaking axle seal and was wondering the details.
Thanks and appriciate it - Also nee the reflash so it is good to here it seams to be working - going to burn out the check engine light at this rate -
