just intstaaled a new govenor pressure solenoid and sensor fron midwest trans supply... now it wont upshift, it will redline etc...acting crazy... even at very light throttle.. fluid level is fine, i dropped the pan again and the connections look good. filled it back up and same thing.,i emailed mts but have not heard back yet. im about to put the original crap back in and call it good

 

Yeap, sounds normal. Not sure if you got stock or the upgraded ones. It is a crap shoot with these 2 pieces.

 

The second time I changed mine, I switched to the GM
conversion kit. They are much better.

 

MTS has contacted me and is trying to resolve the issue! they said to run a ground from battery to the bellhousing with 10 ga wire, this supposedly helps from these parts going bad, factory ground iffy?

 

blue boy, how did the gm conv kit work? cost?
