gov pressure solenoid/ sensor

Im just getting around to messing with my tranny now and have narrowed my delayed shift down to the gov pressure sensor/ solenoid. where can i buy these parts? do i have to go with oem and pay the big bucks?
The reason i think its the gov pressure is that the truck shifts fine unless im really on it and im thinking if the tv cable was not adjusted properly i would have problems at all times not just at or near wot. the tv cable appears to be adjusted but i can not find a adjustment procedure anywhere any help is appreciated
thanks Garrett

I believe when you have gov sensor issues you have an NO upshift condition, some of the tranny guys might chime in. TV cable is adjusted so virtually no slack in the cable,
if you need a new sensor look up GM gov sensor its an updated beefier piece, susposed to be the latest thing.
