Fuel injectors gone and Governor Pressure Solenoid / Sensor is bad??
Hey, I have been having alot of problems recently with my 05 Ram 3500 (138,000 mi). Took it to the dealership and they said my Governor pressure solenoid is bad and my #3 injector is done as well. They also said that the other injectors looked pretty rough as well. Total cost $4600! I'm not sure what to do here. How much does something like this cost elsewhere? I only owe about $6000, so should I just dump it and find another?

I agree no, should be able to find injectors for about $500 a piece at the most, Governer pressure solenoid should be about $100 plus half an hour to an hour labour to change.

Not sure on your 2005 but the pressure solenoid and pressure sensor are $50 apiece for the 47RE and 48RE. I would change both since they are cheap and easy to do. Never messed with injectors but I can't imagine it would be too difficult either. Definitely save your money and do some home wrenching.
