Bad governor solenoid/transducer or just low idle??
You may have seen my previous posts about 2nd gear starts. First thing that crossed my mind was the governor pressure solenoid and/or transducer. However, today I noticed that it mainly does 2nd gear starts when I have the A/C going, which drops the idle a little below the 750 rpm mark on my tach.
So do you think the governor pressure solenoid and transducer are bad?? Would new ones still do that with the idle being a little low?

I got the governor and transducer supposedly changed. Still did it.
Then I changed the PCM. Still did it.
Then I added some extra ground wires from the neg. battery terminal to different ground locations under the hood. Still doing it.
I'm out of ideas. It only does it when the engine/tranny reach full operating temp on warmer days. It's not a huge deal so I'm just driving it for now. It doesn't do a full 2nd gear start. Just doesn't downshift to 1st until you give it a little throttle from a stand-still. Would like to get it fixed though.
