My 06 has very hard upshifts and downshifts. Also around 25-30 mph it wants to drop back into 2nd gear and stay there until I let off the throttle a little then it shifts back to 3rd. Do I have a bad pressure solenoid or transducer or both? I don't have any fault codes.

 

That would be a good place to start. Change both to OEM or go aftermarket for a permanent fix.

 

I guess I'll order them in the morning.

 

Im having the same issue w/ mine. But I did throw fault codes. P0700 and P1762.

P0700 - Transmission Control System

P1762 - Governor Pressure Sensor Offset, Volts To Low Or To High

From what i've gathered I need to replace the governor pressure sensor and the transducer. I guess they go hand in hand like a pair of shoes.

My truck seems to start out in 2nd or 3rd gear, real sluggish and I have to apply alot of fuel just to get moving.

Going to do some calling tomorrow and see what I can find out about these two parts. I don't want to install stock parts if I can get a better aftermarket part.
