need new water pump

took my truck into the dealer yesterday for oil change and had them check the water pump cuz it looked like it was leaking. he said hes ordering a new one that mine is bad. anyone else have this happen?

Did you have any other signs of problems with the truck other than the leak???

nope truck runs fine, no codes or anything. there was some residue on the front of my engine block that looked like it was from a leak and sure enough it was so i will see if it runs any different after i get a new one. maybe its been leaking ever since new .
