dont know where to put this thread but here seems best. sorry if its a little long, its kinda an emergency

i have had problems starting truck. at first crank for 4 secs, then after a few more starts its up to 6 sec, 8 secs then no start. if i shut truck off then restart it starts fine. truck always runs good no matter how long it took to start. only code was for invalid skim key (command start)

i need my truck for work, so i found a mech who could look at truck asap. figures its the lift pump. says psi was low.

orders me a fass and can get it in 2 days and install same day. only 2 days no work for me, i can live with that

2 days turns in 8! so he got pump installed today and drove it all afternoon. says it takes a couple secs to start, oh well, need truck for work

i have already paid this guy 1000 in advance. i go to pick it up after hours. NO START!!!! just cranking. call mech up and he sends his lackie over. says it may be air locked. tells me they have been using ether to start it befor they got pump in

i get truck running using ether and get out of there.

now at home i get codes 0633 skim key, 2509?? and 0628. what do these codes mean. last 2 are new.

i have 228000 so no warranty. i hate dealing with dodge dealership but i dont seem to have much choice. any ideas. cannot afoord another week or who knows off. HELP ME PLEASE

 

go to search and put in each #. Every one has a story on here behind it. Mostly your sim key....

 

Sure have been lots of no start posts latlely that a bad injector or injectors have been the issue or loose injector tubes.
